In Courts: Batavia Statue Defamers, Child Porn, Stealing Guns from Police

Among the court dockets this week are the guys who defamed a Batavia statue. And in DuPage, a variety from jewelry theft to fatal hit and run to child pornography charges.

The closest thing to Geneva this week is the status hearing for the two guys who damaged a statue in Batavia.

Batavia—Two of the men accused of damaging a downtown statue are scheduled for status hearings on June 16.

DUPAGE

Downers Grove—Teresa Carlquist returns to court for a hearing on June 14 in Courtroom 4010 at 9a in her theft case. Last time, her attorney indicated there was ongoing discussion of restitution, so it would appear there are plea discussions.

Elmhurst—, accused of a fatal hit-and-run, is scheduled for a status hearing on June 14 in Courtroom 4006 at 830a.

Elmhurst— (child pornography) scheduled for status hearing on June 13 in Courtroom 4004 at 9a.

Hinsdale—, accused of stealing guns from the police department, is scheduled for hearing on June 14 in Courtroom 4010 at 9a.

Hinsdale—The files dispute between school board member and Hinsdale Township School District officials returns to court for more arguments on June 14 in Courtroom 2010 at 1030a.

Naperville—Scott Huber's bench trial on a disorderly conduct charge is scheduled for June 14 in Courtroom 2006 at 930a. This is the case where he is accused of following a doctor up to her office and shouting at her. The doctor also has filed a lawsuit against Huber.

Naperville—Harold Guzman (jewelry theft) is scheduled for a status hearing on June 14 in Courtroom 4012 at 9a.
