Geneva Woman Found Dead on Metra Tracks in Geneva

The body of Kathleen M. King, 32, of Geneva, was spotted on the tracks Sunday morning by a Metra conductor.

A 32-year-old woman is dead after she was found lying on the Union Pacific Railway tracks Sunday morning south of Esping Park, 227 Briar Lane in Geneva.

A Metra conductor traveling on Track No. 1 spotted the woman lying on Track No. 2, which is the southernmost set of tracks, according to a Geneva Police Department press release. 

Kathleen M. King, 32, of Geneva, was found dead upon arrival. The cause of her death is unknown at this time, according to the news release. 

The incident is being investigated by the Geneva Police Department, Union Pacific Police, Metra Police and the Kane County Coroner’s Office.
