A Geneva woman is facing charges for physically attacking the man she lives with.

Geneva police arrested Kimberly Smol, 58, of Geneva on charges of domestic battery bodily harm to a family member and domestic battery insulting/provoking contact after an incident around 5:40 p.m. April 2 in the 200 block of South Harrison Street, reports said.

The victim told police he got home and became involved in an argument with Smol, at which time he “attempted to extract himself from the situation” by leaving. Smol then followed the victim out of the condominium and down the stairs, where she began striking the victim with her hands and ripping his shirt. Reports said she pulled the victim down by his shirt.
