Geneva Woman Arrested on Charges of Domestic Battery

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Geneva police arrested Kimberly Smol, 58, of Geneva on charges of domestic battery bodily harm to a family member and domestic battery insulting/provoking contact after an incident at around 4:33 a.m. Sept. 9 at a condominium in the 200 block of South Harrison Street, reports said.

The victim said he was consuming alcoholic beverages at a bar in Elburn, and when he came home, got into an argument with Smol. During the course of the argument, Smol struck the victim in the face and head multiple times with her hand, causing minor lacerations to the right side of his face. The officer did not see any signs of injury to Smol’s face, the report said.
