Geneva Streets Closed Saturday for 10K Trick or Trot Run
The race is one of the Pumpkins for a Cure benefit hosted by the Zellmer Childhood Disease Foundation.
Expect delays in downtown Geneva Saturday morning, when runners will be hitting the streets for the Trick or Trot 10K Run.
The race will start at 7 a.m. and is expected to be finished by 9:30 a.m. Eight downtown streets will be closed or impacted by runners on the course, including:

- Third Street between James and Fulton streets
- Campbell Street
- Franklin Street
- South Fourth Street
- South Fifth Street
- South Sixth Street
- First Street/Route 31
- South River Lane

A detour route will direct motorists from Route 31 to James Street, James to Seventh Street, Seventh to Fulton Street, and Fulton to Route 31. The detour route is reversed for drivers heading from the south into downtown.
Motorists are encouraged to be patient and use caution if driving in the downtown during the event. The Geneva Police Department will try to accommodate those who need to reach destinations within the race course.
