Geneva Resident Shares Yearbook Photo of At-Large Marathon Bomber Suspect
A Geneva resident who formerly lived in Massachusetts forwards a Facebook image of fugitive suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19.
This is a tenuous local connection to a national, breaking-news story, but it is enough to make you pause: a high-school yearbook image of 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the at-large suspect in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings.
The image was shared on Facebook from a Geneva resident whose niece sent it to her. The social network that played such an instrumental role in identifying the suspects so quickly is clearly still at work.
As of 9:29 a.m. CST, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev eludes police. His brother, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, described as the other bombing suspect, was killed during the manhunt, USA Today reports.
