Police Reports: 3 Cases of Smashed Car Windows in Geneva

Criminal damage to property reports collected from the Geneva police blotter this week show three incidents in Geneva.

Windows were smashed in three vehicles, including one at a Geneva industrial plant, according to reports collected from the Geneva Police Department.

Criminal Damage to Property Over $300—Someone damaged the driver-side window, rear driver-side window and window trim of a Toyota Camry parked in the lot of Power Packaging, 2089 Pilsbury Drive, sometime between 10:30 p.m. Jan 17 and 7 a.m. Jan. 18, Geneva police reports said. The car was parked at the southwest side of the parking lot. Damage was estimated at more than $300.

Criminal Damage to Property Under $300—Someone damaged the rear hatch window of a Chevrolet Trailblazer parked in the northbound curb lane in the 100 block of North Fourth Street sometime between 8 a.m. 3:20 p.m. Jan. 14, reports said. The estimated cost to repair the damage is $250.

Criminal Damage to Property Over $300—Someone shattered the rear window of a Ford Escape sometime between 10 p.m. Jan. 18 and 8 a.m. Jan. 19 in the 100 block of Maple Court, reports said.  Damage was estimated at more than $300.
