Geneva Police Reports: 20-Year-Olds Cited for Underage Drinking, Possession of Alcohol

Police blotter: Among the items in the Geneva reports are two citations for underage drinking.

Two alcohol-related citations were issued in separate incidents to Geneva 20-year-olds, according to reports.

Possession By a Minor—Geneva police cited Ashley Persin, 20, of Geneva for possession of alcohol by a minor on June 23 in the 100 block of South Third Street, reports said. The fine is $250 if paid before its due date.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor—Geneva police arrested Kye Singer, 20, of Geneva on charges of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor at around 2:57 a.m. June 14 at a restaurant chain in the 1100 block of East State Street, Geneva police reports said. Accroding to the complaint in the 16th Circuit Court, Singer “knowingly consumed an alcoholic liquor.” Singer has a court date of July 17 at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.
