Geneva Police Make 2 Arrests for DUI, 1 for Marijuana Possession

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Two driving-under-the-influence arrests and one possession-of-marijuana arrest were in the Geneva police blotter.

Major Traffic DUI—Geneva police issued a citation to Michelle Delgado, 42, of Batavia for driving under the influence and driving while license suspended after a traffic stop in the 1400 block of West Fabyan Parkway at around 3:01 p.m. Sept. 14, reports said. Delgado has a court date of 9 a.m. Oct. 5 at the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles.

DUI—Geneva police arrested Mary O’Connor, 48, of Geneva on charges of driving under the influence and DUI with a blood-alcohol count of more than .08 around 12:11 a.m. Sept. 3 in the 1800 block of Blackberry Drive, reports said.

Violation of Cannabis Control Act—Geneva police arrested Oscar Anaya-Arias, 23, of Joliet on charges of possessing less than 2.5 grams of marijuana around 10:50 a.m. Sept. 1, reports said. The arrest was made in the 700 block of East State St., according to reports. Anaya-Arias has a court date of 9 a.m. Oc. 18 at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road, reports said.
