Geneva Police Blotter: Criminal Damage, Burglary, Intoxicated Subjects

Volvo Window Shattered

Someone shattered the window of a silver Volvo S70 parked in the 300 block of Crescent Street sometime between 5:30 p.m. June 18 and 7:30 p.m. June 19, reports said.  It is unknown what object was used to shatter the window and the vehicle’s interior appeared to be undisturbed. The vehicle was parked unattended in the south permit parking lot (lot A) between the two glass shelters at the Geneva train depot.

Golf Clubs Taken from St. Andrew Circle

Someone took golf clubs from the back seat of a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 1000 block of St. Andrews Circle sometime between 11 p.m. June 17 and 8 a.m. June 18, reports said. Taken were a black Titleist golf bag, a set of Pink G10 irons, a Taylormade 3-wood and Taylormade driver with a total estimated value of $1,500.

Public Intoxication

  • Geneva police cited Kevin Sullivan, 28, of Geneva for public intoxication on a public sidewalk in the 300 block of West State Street around 2:23 p.m. June 22, reports said. The citation carries a fine of $50 if paid before its due date.
  • Geneva police cited Michael Becht, 21, of Geneva and Dylan Tyra, 21, of Geneva for public intoxication around 2:44 p.m. June 19 in the 300 block of Crescent Place, reports said. The citation carries a fine of $50 if paid on its due date.
