Geneva Police Blotter: 2 Major Traffic DUI Arrests

Two driving-under-the-influence arrests were reported by Geneva police last week, one for DUI drugs, the other for DUI alcohol.
Major Traffic DUI, Drugs—Geneva police arrested Corrie Silverstri, 34, of Geneva on charges of driving under the influence of drugs around 9:31 a.m. Sept. 21 in the 400 block of North Peck Road. Silvestri has a court date of 9 a.m. Oct. 12 at the Kane County Judicial Center.
Major Traffic DUI—Geneva police arrested David Hinton, 23, of South Elgin on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, unsafe lane usage and speeding around 10:35 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 600 block of South Randall Road, reports said. Reports said Hinton was travelling 58 mph in a 45-mph zone. Hinton has a court date of 9 a.m. Nov. 1 at the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles.
