Geneva Police Arrest St. Charles Man for Major Traffic DUI

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Driving in the wrong lane and damaging another vehicle on State Street in downtown Geneva is a pretty clear path to a Major Traffic DUI charge.

Geneva police arrested Mark Cochran, 44, of St. Charles on charges of DUI, DUI with a blood-alcohol level of .08 or more, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving on the wrong lane and damage to an unattended vehicle around 7:24 p.m. June 28 in the 500 block of West State Street, reports said.

A court date is set for 9 a.m. Aug. 3 in the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles.
