Geneva Police Arrest Batavia Teen for Stealing Vodka and Rum

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Geneva police arrested Ryan Jones, 18, of Batavia on charges of retail theft after he allegedly took a 1.75-liter bottle of Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum and one 250 ml bottle of Ketle One Vodka from the Dominick’s at 2000 Randall Road at about 6:15 p.m. Aug. 4, reports said.

The value of the alcohol was $72.98, according to police reports.

Jones has a court date of 9 a.m. Sept. 6 at the Kane County Brand Court, 530 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.
