Geneva Man Faces Charges After Kicking In Garage Door on Harbor Town Court

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Geneva police arrested Steven Martin, 49, of Geneva on charges of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct following an incident at around 6:41 p.m. April 12 at a residence in the 900 block of Harbor Town Court, Geneva police reports said.

The complaint with the 16th Circuit Court states that Martin kicked in the garage-entry door of the residence, causing the door frame to break “in such an unreasonable manner as to alarm and disturb and provoke a breach of the peace.”

There was no estimate regarding the cost of replacing the garage door.
