Geneva Man Charged With Pummeling Male Family Member for 2-3 Minutes

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Geneva police arrested Patrick Ziegler, 32, of Geneva on charges of domestic battery bodily harm and domestic battery insulting or provoking contact after an incident at around 11:19 p.m. Nov. 29 in the 200 block of Ridge Lane, reports said.

According to reports, the victim told police Ziegler swore at and insulted him, then pushed him into a corner of the garage and punched him for two to three minutes. The victim “curled himself into a ball” to defend himself.

Reports said the victim did not have any noticeable physical injuries on his body.
