Geneva Man Arrested for Throwing 14-Inch Stone Through 8-Foot Window

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Geneva man is facing charges after a witness saw him throw a 14-inch piece of paving stone through the display window of a business on Anderson Boulevard.

Geneva police arrested Steven Cole, 47, of Geneva on charges of criminal damage to property for breaking an 8-foot by 6-foot front glass window at Design Line Hair Studio, 402 Anderson Boulevard, sometime around 4:45 p.m. April 22, Geneva police reports said.

The synopsis sheet on the booking card says Cole drove to Hair Line Studios, which was closed and unoccupied, picked up a round, 14-inch-diameter paving stone and threw it, shattering the front window of the business.
