Geneva Guy Caught Drinking With Celebs Now Charged With Ditching His GPS Monitoring Bracelet

Michael Isaacson, 26, apparently unfastens his GPS monitoring bracelet and is charged with violating his bail bond.

If you thought the celebrity intoxication saga in Geneva might fade to black in the police blotter, well, sorry to disappoint you, but there's yet another little twist.

The 26-year-old Geneva man who was arrested along with a bevy of celebrities attending an August after-hours party at EvenFlow is now charged with violating bail bond for shedding his GPS monitoring bracelet.

Geneva police arrested Michael Isaacson, 26, of Geneva on charges that he violated his bail bond Dec. 16 at a private residence in the 500 block of Kingston Drive, reports said.

Geneva police reports did not say for what offense Isaacson was wearing the bracelet, which is monitored by the Kane County Electronic Monitoring program.

A quick look at the Kane County e-Services Portal indicates he had been charged in 2013 with a variety of offenses, including two charges of domestic battery, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, littering and public intoxication. He has had numerous other charges filed against him prior to 2013, going back to 2004.

According to the synopsis sheet for the bail violation charge, officers responded to a complaint at around 11:57 p.m. Dec. 16 saying Isaacson was not wearing his GPS monitoring bracelet, reports said.

According to reports, a KCEM employee attempted to contact Isaacson via telephone numerous times, but Isaacson did not respond. He is supposed to contact KCEM if the bracelet was malfunctioning, reports said.

Isaacson was located and showed the bracelet to officers. The bracelet "appeared to be unfastened," reports said, and Isaacson was arrested and transported to the Kane County Jail.

The supervisor of court services was contacted and gave the OK to charge Isaacson with violation of bail bond and held for a judge, reports said.

On Aug. 25, Isaacson was cited for pubic intoxication along with Alexis Gault of Geneva, television star Kelly Monaco of Pocono Pines, PA, dancer Sergey Onik of West Hollywood, CA, actor/writer Heath Freeman of Los Angeles, CA, and Joanne McCarthy of Sherman Oaks, CA, a television and movie makeup artist and sister of Geneva' resident and television talk-show host Jenny McCarthy.

The celebrities had gone out following Jenny McCarthy's Dancing With the Stars benefit held Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Hotel Baker in St. Charles. The gala was held to raise funds for Bridges Montessori Academy, which McCarthy's son attends.

EvenFlow was subsequently deemed in violation of city liquor codes for hosting an after-hours party and was fined and penalized with a suspended liquor licenses for certain days and hours.

Gault was later charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams. That arrest took place around 1:56 a.m. Nov. 7 in the 400 block of West State Street.
