Geneva Arrests: Drug Equipment, Liquor Act Violation, Disorderly Conduct, Assault

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Geneva Patch tries to group similar crimes in the police-blotter articles we publish, but sometimes there aren't enough in one category to make a group. So presented here are the also-rans of the blotter, arrests maded in four categories that had only one incident apiece.

Possession of Drug Equipment—Geneva police arrested Dominique Allen, 27, of Plainfield on charges of possession of drug equipment and operating a vehicle with an expired registration after a traffic stop around 8:32 a.m. April 8, Geneva police reports said. Allen has a court date of April 23 at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.

Liquor Act Violation—Geneva police arrested Daniel Reed, 18, of Geneva on a charge of improper parking on a roadway and cited Reed and Charles Fulco, 18, of Geneva for consumption of alcohol by a minor around 2:58 a.m. March 30, reports said. Reed has a court date of April 23 at the Kane County Judicial Center for the improper parking charge. The underage drinking citations carry a $250 fine if paid by the due date.

Disorderly Conduct—Geneva police cited Joseph Pec, 36, of Aurora for disorderly conduct after an incident at around 11:06 p.m. March 25 at 1441 S. Randall Road, reports said. The citation carries a $50 fine if paid by its due date. 

Assault—Geneva police arrested Allen Murrell, 26, of Geneva on charges of simple assault at around 7:33 a.m. March 24 in the 700 block of Westfield Course, reports said. According to a complaint in the 16th Judicial Court, Murrell "knowingly followed the complainant into his elderly grandmother’s bedroom and yelled at the complainant in close proximity, causing reasonable apprehension of receiving battery." Murrell has a court date of April 16 at the Kane County Branch Court.
