Geneva Accident Roundup—All on West Side This Time

Accident on Husking Peg Lane—The rear of an Infinity I35 driven by Trevor Deem, 17, of Geneva collided with the rear of a Chevrolet Malibu driven by Deanna Ferringan, 16, of Geneva in the 2900 block of Husking Peg Lane about 100 feet east of Eleanor Lane around 5:05 p.m. April 23, Geneva police reports said. Both vehicles were backing from private drives when the accident occurred. More than $1.500 damage was done to any one vehicle.
Accident on Private Property at Heartland Drive—The rear of a Ford Taurus driven by Thomas Phillips, 84, of Geneva collided with the rear of a Ford Econoline driven by Angela Weaver, 35, of Montgomery around 12:40 p.m. April 19 on private property at 3528 Heartland Drive about 150 feet west of Westhaven Circle, reports said. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle.

Accident on Private Property at 328 South Third Street—The rear of a Ford 500 driven by Lois Lindoerfer, 87,of Geneva collided with the driver’s side of a Honda Civic driven by Lynne Arnold, 72, of Willowbrook around 10:35 a.m. April 18 on private property at 328 South Third Street, reports said. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle.
Accident on Geneva Commons Parking Lot—The rear of a Honda CRV driven by Barbara Taylor, 63, of North Aurora collided with the rear of a Toyota Avalon driven by Maria Dusenbery, 54, of Geneva around 3:08 p.m. April 17 in the Geneva Commons parking lot in the 100 block of South Randall Road, reports said. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle.

Accident on Private Property on South Randall Road—The front of a Kia Optima driven by Michael Szarmack, 49, of Geneva collided with the front of a Kia Forte driven by Kathryn Hubbard, 20, of Batavia around 6:50 pm. April 16 on private property on Randall Road 500 feet north of Miller Road, reports said. Less than $500 damage was done to any one vehicle.
Accident on Private Property on Vanderbuilt Drive—The rear of a Chevrolet Equinox driven by James Noonan, 37, of Geneva collided with the rear of a Pontiac Grand Am driven by Rebecca Hawkins, 33, of Geneva around 9:15 a.m. April 14 in the 2300 block of Vanderbilt Drive, reports said. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle.
Accident on Franklyn Street—An IC International driven by Andrew Hamilton, 36, of Geneva collided with the front of a Buick Regal driven by Cheryl Wagner, 53, of Geneva around 8 a.m. April 12 in the 100 block of Franklyn Street, reports said. Between $501 and $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle.
Accident on West State Street—The front of an International driven by Joseph Improgno, 56, of Lombard collided with the driver’s side of a Saab 9-3 driven by Sue Staponkus, 58, of Geneva around 9:50 a.m. April 12 in the 1000 block of West State Street near North Lincoln Avenue, reports said. Imbrogno was issued a warning ticket for improper lane usage. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle.
Accident on James Street—The front of a Mitsubishi Montero driven by Kim Norman, 44, of Geneva collided with the rear of a Ford Expedition driven by Eric Cournaya, 34, of Geneva around 9:05 a.m. April 11 on James Street 7 feet west of South First Street, reports said. Between $501 and $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle.
Accident on South Randall Road near Fargo—The front of a Hyundai Elantra driven by Matthew Reams, 22, of St. Charles collided with the rear of a Lincoln MKZ driven by Larry Peterson, 65, of Naperville around 4:32 p.m. April 15 in the 100 block of South Randall Road near Fargo Boulevard, reports said. There was a passenger in each vehicle, but no injuries were reported. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle.
