Geneva 20-Year-Olds Arrested for Underage Drinking, 1 for Marijuana Possession, on New Year's Day

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Geneva police arrested five 20-year-old men, cited two young women for underage drinking and arrested one of the men for possession of marijuana in an apparent New Year's party that got out of hand.

The arrest took place at about 1:46 a.m. Jan. 1 at a private residence in the 1300 block of Miller Road, reports said.

Police arrested Ryan Mallon, 20, of Geneva on charges of possession of marijuana greater than 2.5 grams but less than 10 grams and an adult charge of illegal consumption of alcohol.

Also charged with illegal consumption of alcohol as adults were:

  • John Landry, 20, of Geneva
  • Jason Adams, 20, of Geneva
  • Michael Becht, 20, of Geneva
  • Nicholas Faught, 20, of Geneva 

Cited for underage drinking under city ordinance were:

  • Erin Deane, 20, of Elmhurst
  • Keili Maxon, 19, of Geneva 

The underage drinking fines are $250 if paid by due date.

The young men had a Jan. 15 court appearance at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road, St. Charles. The status of that court appearance is not yet confirmed. Patch will follow up when more information is available.
