Gang Graffiti Spray Painted at Island Park, Water Treatment Plant

Police reports: The graffiti is spotted and reported by a passerby on June 23.

Someone spray painted gang signs on the south concrete support post of the bicycle bridge of , 2 East State St., and on the northern wall facing Island Park’s entrance from the Geneva water treatment plant, 602 Crissey Ave., reports said.

The letters DLK with a five-point star were spray painted on those two locations and on the yellow metal post of the entrance from the parking lot.

The graffiti was discovered by a citizen walking through Island Park around 4:30 p.m. June 23, reports said.
