Employee Arrested for Clothes Shoplifting Scam With Friend
Police reports: Geneva police arrest employee for retail theft, saying she let a friend take clothes they'd later share.
Shoplifting arrest—Police arrested Alexis Busse, 18, of Geneva on Thursday for retail theft from Holister, 314 Commons Drive, Geneva. Reports said Busse, an employee of the store, and a friend took about $1,135 worth of merchandize in a series of thefts that took place between Aug. 22 and Sept. 9.
According to reports, Busse told police a friend would take items into the dressing room, mostly pants and shirts, hide them and leave the store. After the theft, the two would share in wearing the clothing.
