The front of a Mini Cooper driven by Jennifer Zak-White, 29, of Geneva struck Cheryl Davis, 54, of Geneva at the intersection of Geneva Drive and Kirk Road around 7:20 a.m. Sept. 1, reports said.

Zak-White told police she was stopped on Geneva Drive at Kirk Road waiting to turn left and was looking away when a pedestrian/runner ran in front of the Mini Cooper. The Mini Cooper struck Davis, but she told Zak-White she was OK and continued on her run, police reports said.
