Cannabis Tales: Arrests in Geneva, Batavia

Two marijuana-related arrests were part of police reports from June 8 through June 17 at the Geneva and Batavia police departments.
Geneva
Geneva police arrested Ricky Snal, 19, of Elburn on charges of unlawful possession of cannabis around 6:38 a.m. June 8 at Delnor Hospital, 300 S. Randall Road, reports said. According to a complaint in the 16th Judicial Circuit Court, Snal had in his possession less than 2.5 grams of a substance containing cannabis. He has a court date of July 16 at the Kane County Branch Court.

Batavia
Batavia police arrested John K. Schick, 23, of Aurora on charges of possession of more than 10 and less than 30 grams of marijuana around 3:47 p.m. June 13 at the intersection of South Randall Road and Main Street. He posted $150 and has a court date of July 9.
