The following information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A cab driver faces a battery charge in connection with an incident involving a customer who signed a complaint against him.

The complainant said she called a cab after her shift at work ended at 11 p.m. June 4 to take her home. According to the police report, the complainant said the driver, Sandeep S. Arora of Naperville, attempted to kiss and fondle her during the ride.

Arora spoke to officers and, according to the report, gave a couple of accounts of the incident before admitting to having some contact with the pasenger. He told police it was consensual. A DNA sample was taken, police said.
