Burglary at Denise's Home Adornments
Police reports: Someone gets into Denise's and gets away with $600 in cash plus some un-cashed checks.
A burglary helped make the season less bright for a Geneva Third Street business.
report that someone took about $600 in cash plus some uncashed checks from Denise’s, 221 South Third St., sometime between 5:15 p.m. Dec. 11 and 9:50 a.m. Dec. 12.
One of the employees discovered the store had been burglarized after she noticed that the back door was partially opened shortly after she came to work, reports said.

When the employee checked the cash drawer, it was empty. The owner advised that cash drawer had contained the $600 as well as checks.
