Boiler Leak at Delnor Hospital Sets Off Fire Alarm, No One Hurt

A fire truck was parked outside Delnor Hospital, but as of 5 p.m. Tuesday there was no fire or smoke visible from the exterior.

A boiler leak caused a fire alarm to go off at on Tuesday afternoon, a hospital spokesperson said.

The alarm went off at about 5 p.m. on the hospital campus. No one was injured, said Delnor Spokesperson Brian Griffin.

The boiler leak caused steam to be released, and it set off the alarm.

"It was quickly resolved and there was no fire of any kind," Griffin said.

A single Geneva fire truck was parked outside Delnor's emergency room entrance after the alarm was pulled.
