Body Found in Bolingbrook May Be Missing Geneva Man

A body is discovered Tuesday by a land surveyor in a vacant lot on the 1000 block of Windham Parkway in Bolingbrook. Talley has been missing since Nov. 10.

Police believe that a body found in Bolingbrook could be the 50-year-old Jeffrey Talley, the Geneva man who was reported missing since Nov. 10.

According to reports in the Daily Herald, CBS, the Kane County Chronicle and other media, the Will County Coroner's Office said the body was discovered by a land surveyor in a vacant lot on the 1000 block of Windham Parkway, according to the Will County coroner's office. That is in the area of a frontage road to Illinois Interstate 55.

Authorities did not say when the body was found, but the man believed to be Talley was pronounced dead at 9:35 a.m. Tuesday, according to CBS Chicago. An autopsy is scheduled for later this week.

Coroner Patrick K. O’Neil described the body as “frozen,” according to the Chronicle report.
