Believe It or Not: Newspapers Stolen From Library

The newspapers include bundles of the Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune, New York Times and Wall Street Journal.

After reading the Crain's story this morning about the Sun-Times Aggrego project, it is perhaps comforting to know that people still value newspapers enough to steal them.

From the Geneva Police Department blotter comes the news that someone took four newspaper bundles from the sidewalk in front of the Geneva Public Library, 127 James St., sometime between 6:45 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 5, reports said.

The newspapers included bundles of the Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune, New York Times and Wall Street Journal.

The sad news? The newspaper bundles were valued at $10.
