Batavia Man Charged With Battery After Lifting Victim's Skirt

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Geneva police arrested Nathan Bucy, 28, of Batavia on charges of battery insulting/provoking contact and disorderly contact after a series of incidents prior to  9:22 a.m. Monday Dec. 10 at a 507 S. Third St. business and “other places than those listed.”

According to the complaint in the 16th Circuit Court, Bucy “lifted up (the victim’s) skirt approximately five inches above her belt and later placed his hand up her shoulder after being told by (the victim) that she does not like physical contact.”

It states further than Bucy “entered a business after being told the business was not yet open, crumpled and dropped a cigarette onto the floor once inside” and made rude remarks to an employee. Bucy has a court date of Jan. 15 at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.
