Batavia Hit With Little New Year's Paint-Ball Spree

Multiple subjects fled on foot.

Dow dow, dow dow dow ...

OK, it wasn't that crazy, and there were just three incidents, but someone apparently was getting ready to celebrate the new year by bombarding houses with paint balls in Batavia.

Two of the reports took place in the 900 block of Cleveland Avenue.

"Multiple subjects" were seen fleeing on foot in one of the incidents. Here are the reports:

 

Clean Up Costs: $50


The exterior of a residence in the 900 block of Cleveland Avenue was hit with white paint balls, according to a report at 1:59 a.m. New Year’s Day. The cost to clean up the paint was estimated at $50.

'Subjects Fled North on Foot'


Someone shot paint balls at a residence in the 900 block of Cleveland Avenue, according to a report filed at 5:52 p.m. Dec. 30. Multiple objects hit the house, and paint ball shells were found on the windows and at the side of the residence. “Multiple subjects fled north on foot,” the report said.

Front Door, Windows, Siding Damaged

Multiple subjects also were involved in a criminal damage complaint in the 300 block of Johnson Woods drive, according to a report at 7:51 p.m. Dec. 30. The front door, windows and sides of the residence were damaged by paintballs, the report said.
