Aurora Woman Charged With Theft From DSW Shoes

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

There were two thefts from stores reported in the Geneva police blotter this week. One was categorized as a true retail theft, the other just plain theft.

Retail Theft—Geneva police arrested  Juliana Spangler, 32, of Aurora on charges of retail theft from DSW Shoes, 702 Commons Drive, around 1:55 p.m. Aug. 31, reports said. Spangler is charged with taking two Guest purses having a total value of less than $300. Spangler has a court date of 9 a.m. Oct. 11 at Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road.

Theft Under $500—Someone took a wooden bench from the parking lot of a business in the 600 block of South First Street sometime on Aug. 30, reports said. The bench is described as a white, wooden bench with metal wheels and has an estimated value of $100.
