Aurora Man Arrested for T-Mobile Retail Theft

arrested Pero Abreomartinez, 24, of Aurora on charges of retail theft at around 10:37 .m. July 9 at the T-Mobile store, 1526 Commons drive, Geneva, reports said.
Officers responded to a retail theft report, talked to the sales clerk who saw a male Hispanic remove a cell phone from the top of a display cabinet at the front of the store and exit without paying for it, reports said.
The clerk provided a vehicle description and license plate number. Batavia police located the black Volkswagen Beetle traveling south in the 1600 block of River Street, conducted a traffic stop and took Abreomartinez into custody, reports said.

The cell phone has a value of $550.
