Amber Alert Over: Missing Texas Girl Found Safe in Indiana

Authorities had said Sommer Brown-Ivory could have been headed for the Chicago area.

The Chicago Tribune is reporting that missing 12-year-old Sommer Brown-Ivory was found safe outside of Indianapolis Sunday morning. No other details are available.

Chicago-area residents should be on the lookout for a missing 12-year-old girl who was the subject of an AMBER alert out of Texas, the Chicago Tribune is reporting.

The Tribune reported that Sommer Brown-Ivory, who lives with her father outside Dallas, may have been taken Friday by her mother. Lisa Elizabeth Brown, 43, has relatives in the Chicago area, the Trib reported.

According to the AMBER Alert website, Sommer is described as 5-feet 6-inches tall, 90 pounds, black hair, brown eyes and last seen wearing a black tank top and black basketball shorts.

Her mother is described as  5-feet 8-inches tall, 120 pounds, black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black blazer and a light green shirt, the site said. Brown is driving a gray, 2006 Ford Expedition with a Texas temporary license plate number of 86P 3357.
