Accident Reports: Collisions on Kaneville, Green Meadow and First

Here's a roundup of accidents picked up last week from the Geneva Police Department.

It was a light folder of reports last week. Here's the roundup.

Accident at Kaneville and Southampton—The front of a Saturn Ion driven by Brenda Murphy, 31, of Geneva collided with the rear of a Lexus RX300 driven by Ellyn Grath, 59, of Geneva around 7:15 p.m. Dec. 9 at the intersection of Kaneville Road and Southampton Drive, reports said. Between $501 and $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle. Murphy was issued a warning ticket for failure to yield at an intersection.

Accident on Green Meadow Lane—The rear of a Honda Accord driven by Julian Delrio, 28, of Geneva collided with the front of a Nissan Altima driven by Nathanial Wroblewski, 25, of Geneva around 6 p.m. Dec. 10 in the 600 block of Green Meadow Lane near Chandler Avenue, reports said. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle.

Accident at First and James Streets—The rear of a Nissan Murano driven by Carol McTigue, 69, of Winfield collided with the front of a BMW X5 driven by Lynda Fizor, 52, of Geneva around 12:05 p.m. Dec. 9 at the intersection of South First Street and James Street in Geneva. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle. McTigue was issued a warning for failure to yield at a stop intersection.
