A School Parking Lot Accident, and Collisions from Bennett Street to Randall Road

Police reports: One solo accident in a school parking results in injury.

The following is a list of traffic reports collected this week from the Geneva Police Department.

Accident in school parking lot—A Nissan Quest driven by Lisa Trevino, 40, of Geneva struck a concrete-based basketball hoop in the parking lot of 1415 Viking Drive around 3:58 p.m. April 15, reports said. Between $510 and $1,500 damage was done to the vehicle. The driver was taken to Delnor Hospital.

Collision on North Bennett Street—The front of a GMC Suburban driven by Nicholas Faught, 18, of Geneva collided with the rear of a Volkswagen Jetta driven by Jennifer Rios, 42, of South Elgin around 6:55 p.m. April 15 at the intersection of North Bennett Street (Route 25) and Division Street, police said. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle.

Collision on Randall Road—The front of a Honda Civic driven by Jason Lass, 38, of Batavia collided with an Infinity Q45 driven by Daniel Cervantes, 64, of Geneva around 2:21 p.m. April 16 in the 1400 block of Randall Road near Fargo Boulevard, reports said. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle. Lass was issued a warning ticket for driving too closely.

Collision on Fabyan Parkway—The front of a Saturn SL2 driven by Socorro Reyes, 45, of Aurora collided with the rear of a Nissan Murano driven by John Ulin, 50, of Geneva around 7:03 a.m. in the 700 block of East Fabyan Parkway near North Raddant Road, reports said. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle.

Collision on North Randall Road—A Honda Odyssey driven by Louise Burnette, 50, of Geneva collided with the rear of a Honda Odyssey driven by Stephanie Tresemer of Geneva around noon April 8 in the 1300 block of North Randall Road near Williamsburg Avenue, reports said. Between $501 and $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle, reports said.

Collision on West Fabyan Parkway—An Isuzu Box Cube driven by Jerome Kalita of North Aurora sideswiped a GMC Sierra driven by Theresa Gangler of Geneva around 1:40 p.m. April 12 in the 900 block of West Fabyan Parkway near Batavia Avenue, reports said. Between $501 and $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle. The driver’s side mirror of Gangler’s GMC Sierra was damaged. There were only scuff marks on the mirror of Kalita’s Box Cube, reports said.

Hit and Run on South Second Street—An unknown vehicle struck a Chevrolet Malibu parked in the 500 block of South Second Street sometime around 6:15 p.m. April 12, reports said. Between $501 and $1,500 damage was done to either vehicle.
