4-Vehicle Accident Near Middle School Campus

Geneva police, ambulance and fire personnel reported to a four-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Fabyan Parkway and Viking Drive, at the south access to the Geneva middle school campus.

The original alert from Tri-Com Dispatch came at about 12:24 p.m., asking police and fire officials to respond to a possible accident with injuries.

At 12:45 p.m., one SUV remained on Fabyan Parkway and one lane of traffic was closed. Traffic was able to proceed east-west in one lane on Fabyan Parkway, and there was no blockage to the middle school campus at Viking Drive.

The campus is the home of Geneva Middle School South and Geneva Middle School North, as well as the Friendship Station preschool.

Three other vehicles—a white pickup truck, a car and another SUV—were pulled to the west side of Branson Drive, the side street opposite Viking Drive to the south of Fabyan. Officers were interviewing drivers at the scene.
