$3,110 Worth of Stuff Taken From Mercedes

A MacBook Air computer and a Frank Clegg leather Wall Street version briefcase are taken from a car parked in the lot of a Randall Road store.

'Tis the season for vehicle burglaries, but rarely do the culprits get away with a take this large from one vehicle.

Someone took a MacBook Air computer and a Frank Clegg leather Wall Street version briefcase from a Mercedes GL450 parked in the Fresh Market parking lot, 718 Commons Drive, sometime between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. May 24, Geneva police reports said.

The owner said the vehicle was locked at the time.

The briefcase was valued at $910 and the MacBook at $2,200, for a total loss of more than $3,100.
