3 Cases of Underage Drinking in Geneva Police Reports

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Three separate incidents involving underage drinking were collected Tuesday in Geneva police reports.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor—Geneva police cited Nicole Naughton, 19, of Geneva for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor and improper lane usage after a traffic stop around 10:03 p.m. Sept. 12 in the 2100 block of Williamsburg Avenue, Geneva police reports said. Naughton  has a court date of Oct. 15 at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road, for the traffic offense. The underage drinking violation carries a $250 if paid before its due date.

Consumption of Alcohol, Drug Paraphernalia—Geneva police arrested Travis Champer, 18, of Geneva on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor after Champer turned himself in to police at 1 p.m. Sept. 15, reports said. He has a court date of Oct. 16 at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor—Geneva police cited Rylee Merges, 18, of Geneva for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor in the 1400 block of Gray Street around 9:45 p.m. Sept. 14, Geneva police reports said. The violation carries a $250 fine if paid by the due date.
