2 Woodstock Men Charged With Providing False Names to Avoid Arrest

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Two Woodstock men are facing obstruction of justice charges for giving Geneva police fraudulent names and birth dates in order to avoid being recognized for previous crimes, Geneva police reports said.

Geneva police arrested Damien Spikener-Wilkins, 25, and Deonte Wilkins, 19, both of Woodstock on charges of illegal transportation of alcohol and obstructing justice for providing police with a fraudulent name and date of birth “to prevent being apprehended on outstanding arrest warrants,” reports said.

The arrest took place around 4:27 p.m. March 21 in the 1100 block of South Randall Road. Deonte Wilkins also was charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.
