Police reports: One theft reported from a wallet in a woman's purse, the other from a vehicle.

Two unrelated police reports noted thefts within a day of each other at an apartment complex on Simpson Street—one theft from a vehicle and the other from a woman's wallet.

Here are the two reports:

Theft Under $500—Someone took a $100 bill from the wallet of a woman’s purse that sat in the livingroom of an apartment in the 0-100 of Simpson Street, Geneva police reports said. The woman told police the wallet was sitting on a coffee table in the living room of the apartment and contained about $138 in cash, including the $100 bill. She said the $100 bill was taken sometime between 5 p.m. May 2 and 9 p.m. May 3, when she noticed the bill was missing.
