2 Cases of Vehicle Driving Across Lawns, on Both Sides of Geneva, Sept. 11

Geneva police reports: A vehicle (or more than one vehicle) drives across the lawns of two Geneva homes in wee hours of Tuesday, Sept. 11.

A black pickup was spotted leaving the scene around 4 a.m. Sept. 11 after driving across the front yard of a home on Sandholm Street on the East Side. Then, in a window of about the same hour, a vehicle is reported driving through the front yard of a home on Maple Lane on the West Side. Coincidence? You decide.

Criminal Damage to Property Over $300—Someone drove a vehicle across the front lawn of a home in the 200 block of Maple Lane sometime between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. Sept. 11, Geneva police report. The estimated damage to the yard was set at $600.

Criminal Damage to Property—Someone drove a black pickup truck through the front yard of a home in the 200 block of Sandholm Street sometime around 4 a.m. Sept. 11, Geneva police reports said. According to reports, the complainant and her grandson were awoken by the sound of a truck spinning its tires in the front yard of his residence. The grandson looked out the window and saw the small, black pickup truck travelling south on Sandholm Street. Damage was estimated at $150.
