Teens Throw Red Liquid Out of Speeding Car

Batavia blotter includes property damage to churches and one unusual case in which the force of hurled liquid from a speeding car breaks a driver's-side mirror.

It sounds like a harmless prank, but apparently, throwing liquid out a speeding car can cause more than a little bit of damage—and could cause a much-more serious accident.

A group of teenagers in a silver, four-door vehicle threw a cup of red liquid out the window and broke the driver’s-side mirror of another vehicle at Hart Road and Wind Energy Pass in Batavia, according to a report filed at 6:05 p.m. April 11, Batavia police reports said.

The estimated cost to replace the mirror is $150, and the report did not indicate any persons were hurt.
