18-Year-Old Gives Police Fake License, Gets Charged With Liquor Act Violation

An 18-year-old Geneva girl tries to give police a fake Indiana driver's license.

Police arrested Rachel Hunter, 18, of Geneva on charges of using a fictitious license and illegal possession of alcohol by a minor following an alcohol compliance check at , 201 W. State St., around 2:13 a.m. May 5, reports said.

A bartender confirmed to police that a female patron was inside the establishment waiting for a ride home. When police asked for her identification, Hunter handed police an Indiana driver's license with her picture and corresponding date of birth of April 17, 1989, which would have made her 21 years old.

Police determined that the Indiana license was fraudulent and found her Illinois license in her wallet, which showed her correct date of birth in May of 1992, making her 18 years old.
