17-Year-Olds Ticketed for Crashing 2 Cars Into Mill Creek Home
Two teens were ticketed after crashing their vehicles into the porch of a home in Mill Creek on June 5, the Kane County Chronicle reports.
Wesley B. Ruby, 17, of the 39W600 block of Carney Lane in Blackberry Township and the son of Herrington Inn general manager Paul Ruby, was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident
Collin K. Steel, 17, of the 0N500 block of West Weaver Circle, Blackberry Township, was ticketed for disobeying a stop sign, the Chronicle reported.
The teenagers have a court date of July 24, according to the crash report.

An F-150 Ford pickup driven by Ruby and a Lincoln driven by Steel were driving south on Brundige Road near the intersection of Armstrong Lane around 10:45 p.m. Friday, July 5, the Chronicle reports.
The passenger side of the Lincoln collided with the driver’s side of the pickup, then crash into the front porch of a home in the 0n500 block of Armstrong Lane.

The 17-year-olds were released by the Elburn and Countryside Fire Protection District.
