10 Cited for Underage Drinking, 1 for Battery in Pepper Valley on New Year's
A Carol Stream 20-year-old is charged with hitting a female victim with a closed fist and with a door.
Geneva police arrested John Ingram, 20, of Carol Stream on charges of battery, battery insulting or provoking contact and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor after an incident at around 12:13 a.m. Jan. 1 in the 2100 block of Pepper Valley Drive, reports said.
Cited for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor under city ordinance were nine others, including six who were age 17 or under and three Geneva 18-year-olds: Elena Kelly, Jordyn Schmidt and Jonathan Summers.
According to the complaint in the 16th Circuit Court, Ingram struck an unnamed victim “in her left side with a closed fist” and “struck her left side with a door.” He has a court date of Jan. 21 at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.
