Luxury Homebuyers Are Back
Sales of luxury homes across the nation are on the rise. The Midwest region has seen the second largest increase with 2013 sales up 36.4% over 2012.
These numbers look at homes priced over $1 Million. The Northeast led the way with a 45.3% increase!
Sales of luxury homes in Kane County, Illinois rose 50% in 2013. There were 18 homes over $1 Million that sold, compared to 12 in 2012.

Luxury sales doubled in each of the tri-cities, though Geneva and Batavia only had 1 sale each in 2013. In 2012 they had none. St Charles saw the most action with 12 luxury homes sales in 2013 compared to 6 the year before.
