As a "public service announcement" of sorts.. recently someone has posted "Free Google Play" gift card offers here on Patch. I want to warn everyone to please ignore these. Also, I will let management know that they should remove these asap. These are not only spam but they will force you into "offers" for various software or magazines. In the meantime your browser will be highjacked and your home page settings changed. Please do not entertain these so-called free offers and if you have run a virus scan immediately.
