Geneva Mourns Gary Etheridge, Harry Coulos and Sally James

  • Gary W. Etheridge Jr., 36, of Aurora passed away on Thanksgiving Day,  sharing the same birthday as his beloved mother, Dominee T. Rompel. He had a great sense of humor and was very creative and talented. He loved to go fishing, was an avid reader, an amazing drummer and enjoyed music, history and art. He was a simple man with a heart of gold. He will always be remembered with tender love and affection.

Yurs Funeral Homes

  • Harry Coulos, 86, of Geneva, was a longtime and honored employee of Richardson Electronics of LaFox, and lived all his years in the family home on Lincoln Avenue. He is survived by his brother, Jim, to whom he was devoted, and numerous cousins. Harry loved old movies and music, good food and companionship, and was a faithful communicant at his church. His open and generous nature earned for him a multitude of friends, who will surely miss him.

  • Sally James, 74, of Batavia, was a proud graduate of West Aurora High School, Class of 1957. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was an avid volunteer for her two daughters clubs and activities. She enjoyed traveling with her husband. She loved her monthly trips to the riverboat casinos. She belonged to a monthly Bunco group with friends and neighbors. She was a loving grandmother who looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid basketball fan.
