Register for the 2014 Super Shuffle 5k!

Geneva Park District 5k offers Game Day Fitness & Fun

Burn calories and have a blast at Geneva Park District's Super Shuffle 5k around Peck Farm Park, Sunday, February 2 at 10 a.m.

Did you know that Super Bowl Sunday is the 2nd highest calorie consumption day nationwide? While watching the big game, Americans collectively consume 1.25 billion chicken wings and 11 million pounds of chips? Holy Guacamole! Knowing this, it's not hard to believe the average person consumes an entire days worth of calories in just 3 short hours.

To stay on track with your New Year's Resolution, Geneva Park District hosts its 4th annual Super Shuffle 5k, Sunday, February 2 before the big game. This exhilarating winter race around Peck Farm Park begins at 10 a.m. Check-in and day-of registration at Geneva Middle School South, 1415 Viking Drive, begin at 8:45 a.m.

Immediately following the race, gear up for the game at the Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center's family-friendly Game Day Party across the street at 3507 Kaneville Road until 1 p.m. Each runner will receive a free beverage voucher and a participation medal. Top male and female finishers will receive awards.

Register early to save $5. Pre-registration ends Wednesday, January 29 at 4 p.m. Pre-registration cost is $34. Day-of registration cost is $39.
